About Us
Harlowton Faith Chapel is a rural church located in Harlowton, Montana that is affiliated with the Assemblies of God denomination. We believe that God has uniquely placed us here in Wheatland County to share the good news of Jesus Christ, and offer freedom, healing, and hope in Jesus Christ. We are a place where folllowers of Jesus can grow in their faith, freedom, fruit, and feel like a Family.
The church started in the Spring of 1977 where a group of local people met to discuss the possibility of founding an Assemblies of God church in Harlowton. A nearby Assembly of God pastor in Ryegate began holding services in several locations, until on January 9, 1979, the church officially joined the Assemblies of God. By April 15 of that same year, the church held its first service in the their newly constructed church building on Easter Sunday. On March 4, 2001 a church addition was dedicated debt-free. The church is conveniently located across from the Bair Memorial Clinic in Harlowton and welcomes people of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences.
